Our club is now open for pool starting on March 2nd and every Tuesday from 1 to 2 pm for access to the library with a limit of 3 people at a time.
Our President’s Message
Many see our club as being non-essential. But for the dozens of Seniors who rely on the contacts and friendships that have been developed over the years, these last few months have been very difficult. We do not know when we will be allowed to completely reopen; our health depends on getting it right. We have all experienced trauma and hardship in our lives, and we have survived–often emerging stronger and better than we went in. I am very hopeful that this will be the case this time. In the meantime, our Board is taking care of the club and keeping it safe for when we return. Stay well and strong my friends
Club 85 is open 5 days a week for all seniors (over 50 years of age) in Brockville and the surrounding area. We are open for members to socialize and play many different games, such as: pool, snooker, darts, euchre, bridge (both contract and duplicate) and cribbage. We also offer a wide variety of special events during the year, like summer BBQs, ham suppers, pot luck dinners, Christmas lunch and trips to local attractions. We receive grants from the Provincial Government and the City of Brockville which enable us to hire a part-time co-ordinator and caretaker”
We are open to everyone for friendship and companionship. We are completely handicap accessible.
